If you want an instant lawn and are tired of seeding, only to have weeds grow, try our sod installation service. Our sister company Shan-Gri-La Sod Farm grows the finest sod in the area. Choose from Tall Fescue/ Bluegrass Blend for a go to lawn that will blend well with other grass varieties or Straight Kentucky Bluegrass for those who want to be the envy of the neighborhood.
"Our neighborhood is blessed with a huge number of large oaks. The look and shade is partially what drew us to our new house. Unfortunately shade and two large dogs dont give grass much of a chance to survive. So after a couple of years of replanting efforts I wanted to try something new. I wanted to relandscape the backyard using mulch, flagstone and some shade loving plants. After getting three different ideas and price quotes I selected Shan-Gri-La. Chip Bunch came out to look at the space and light situation and within a couple of days had a plan laid out for us to review. It included the large flagstone but also some much larger stone pieces and a rock garden to help with the water run off. Once approved Chip sourced the flagstone and once that was available we scheduled the job. The crew was able to remove the existing shrubs and lawn and complete the new landscape within a weeks time. Since it was November, I had to wait for spring to see the true final look and I'm very pleased with the outcome. The area held up very well to the dogs and includes a range of plants and shrubs doing well with the highly filtered light. Chip included plants with a variety of colors in them for added visual interest and we're very happy with the outcome. I definitely recommend them and will include in future landscaping projects."
